A Park For All

Outdoor playgrounds provide all of us a place to take a break from our daily routine - to enjoy the outdoors and relax in our community. However, playgrounds are usually designed for young, healthy kids. Only rarely do you find parks and playgrounds that serve the entire community - all ages, and all abilities.

Our goal is to create a park for people of all abilities and all ages in Mission, Kansas. We are creating a magical place in our City - a place where anyone, and everyone, can relax and play.

A Time For Change

The goal for A Park For All is not to simply create a place for those with disabilities to play, but one where all community members are invited to play together. “The real magic, however, is that the very play activities included for the children with special needs are often the most popular with the children with the ability to play anywhere.” (Boundless Playgrounds™)

That’s the magic that we are trying to capture with A Park For All.  A place where anyone can play and participate regardless of either a physical or developmental boundary.
